How an event reaches the guide.

Every published fact must be supported by a public source. A newer page visit does not refresh facts that the page did not actually confirm.

Selection

We include announced, future, travel-level social dance events with explicit start and end dates. We do not infer next year’s dates from a previous edition, and we do not include routine weekly socials or single classes.

Source priority

1. Official event websites
2. Organizer pages or public organizer posts
3. Formal ticket pages
4. Trusted event directories used as clearly labelled leads

A source that may require login can be shown as an auxiliary link, but cannot be the sole evidence for a published core fact.

Verification labels

“Official source checked” means an official-source set covered the event name, dates, country or region, city and scheduled status. Organizer and ticket-page labels use the same confirmed core. Directory leads may omit a city that has not been announced, while details-pending records have public first-party evidence that does not yet cover the full confirmed core. Conflicts and stale records are never upgraded to an optimistic label.

Checked-through dates

The displayed date is the oldest point across the latest supporting checks for every required fact and the selected verification tier. This deliberately moves more slowly than a generic “page last opened” timestamp.

Descriptions and imagery

Summaries are written for this guide and only restate structured facts. We do not copy promotional descriptions, posters, photos or organizer logos into the catalog.
